Nightmare Castle (Gli Amanti d'oltretomba) is an Italian gothic horror film directed by Mario Caino. The film stars Barbara Steele in dual lead roles. Steele is an English film actress best known for starring in Italian gothic horror films of the 1960s. Her breakthrough role came in Italian director Mario Bava's Black Sunday (1960), now hailed as a masterpiece of the Italian gothic horror genre.
